For my diploma thesis, I explored how to make analog stop-motion production more efficient, as it is increasingly disappearing due to its time-consuming nature. To address this, I created a fictional production company called Pixel and Clay Productions. This studio takes photographs of the models—just like in traditional stop-motion animation—and then uses AI to animate them. This approach allows the unique style of stop-motion to be recreated in a much shorter time.
